Hope all is going great in your life! My enthusiastic son Jay has moderate to severe Autism. His language ability is low and his legs are very quick. I have worried about what would happen if he ran off and became lost from us. My husband and I created QR Code iD to help ourselves, and others who have loved ones that may wander such as toddlers or those affected by dementia, Alzheimer’s, or Down Syndrome. We print individualized QR codes directly on shirts and pins.

If a person is lost, a rescuer is alerted by the red letters If I need Help. The code can be scanned by a smartphone or entered manually to obtain contact and emergency info. This info can be changed in real time to reflect the current situation such as the school or camp or care giver in charge. An example of additional info that can be inputted: “We are in the parking garage. The reception is terrible. Please take him to security level 1 and we will be right up.” Or “My EPI pen is in the front pocket of my purse.”

Please visit our web site https://www.qrcodeid.org and share with your friends! Please consider listing us a resource. Thank you!

    Hello,

I see you are interested in guest posting. I would be very interested. I have done this once before . Myself and another told our stories via our blogs. I have my http://www.positiveepilepsy.com/ blog and I also have a WordPress blog – https://epilepsyencounters.wordpress.com/ .
The second is pretty much the same info but on WordPress.
So, it would be great to hear from you.
The more we interact the better I say.

    Kind Regards,
    Bryce.
