I just finished making this gorgeous vintagey looking insect Insect Envelope Junk Journal!
It’s not only beautiful but it’s functional as well!
Perfect for keeping your memories organized all in one location!
This journal was handcrafted using 8 envelopes and is 8.75 inches by 5.75 inches. There are 12 pages plus the front and back covers, 4 large pockets, 3 fun flips, and 1 tuck spot.
Even though this journal is small, there is more than enough lined paper and graph paper pages for writing down your thoughts!
Included are also several lovely backgrounds for mounting photos or other embellishments on and 4 large pockets for tucking mementos inside such as tickets, receipts, postcards, and other ephemera.!
The front is covered with beige and sparkly gold moth scrapbook paper and embellished with a delicate lace frame surrounding a naturescape featuring various insects.
A butterfly charm pinned to the lace with a bulb pin is a fitting finishing touch!
The back is simply covered in the same moth scrapbook paper as the front only in brown and black tones.
Embellishments include: 1 small glassine bag purchased from AboveParrCrafts filled with 5 bug journaling cards from my own “Bird, Butterfly, and Bug” journaling card set; 4 large journaling cards featuring insect images including some courtesy of Lindsey Zenor; 1 small dragonfly journaling card courtesy of my daughter, Rachel, who brought it back from China; 1 small handmade brown paper envelope; one shipping tag decorated with a butterfly stamp; and 2 vintage buttons!
