I was so excited when my daughter came home on vacation from Japan and gifted me with so many awesome fabrics and stationery products to use in my junk journal making!!
I handcrafted this adorable, little journal using both fabric styles that she brought home and several gorgeous Origami papers scattered throughout.
I even included a few of the cutest little envelopes and cards, too!
Then I searched the internet high and low for just the right images to create the very special ephemera you will find nestled inside the pages of this very unique and one of a kind handcrafted blank book!
The closure is a black ribbon with gold starbursts.
The half inch spine sports a handmade red embroidery floss tassel, a gold flower charm, a gold disc charm and one silver “Made with love” charm.
Back cover is simply decorated with five flower stickers brought back from Japan!
Inside the lovely covers are 38 unique pages, two full sized page top pockets, two paper bag side pockets, two sewn paper pockets, a couple of tuck spots, one fabric flip, one paper flip, one paper corner pocket/flip, a mini library card pocket and one embellished rolodex card pocket!
There are 18 pieces of Japan themed journaling cards, including one embellished rolodex card, one Japanese dollar bill, and an actual train ticket that my daughter saved!
This journal contains lots of sewn components, also!!
